Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Instant Inventory, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. AI Accuracy and Review

Instant Inventory uses Artificial Intelligence to assist in documenting your personal property. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI is not perfect: The Service may misidentify, overlook, or incorrectly value items.
• Comparable prices are estimates: Shopping-comparable sources may change, disappear, reflect promotions, or differ from your exact item, age, condition, model, location, or policy coverage.
• Verification Required: You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of the final inventory report before submitting it to any insurance carrier.
• No Insurance Advice: We are a documentation tool, not an insurance agent or public adjuster. We do not guarantee that our reports will be accepted by your specific carrier.

3. Licenses & Payments

• Property License: Grants one account the ability to create and maintain one property inventory while the Service remains available under these Terms. It is not a promise of perpetual storage or availability.
• Gift Licenses: Gift licenses are purchased through the applicable app store. The purchaser may share a single-use link or QR code without identifying the recipient in advance. The first authenticated person to claim a valid link receives the license. Anyone holding an unclaimed link may redeem it, so purchasers should share links carefully.
• Gift links: Gift links expire, may be rotated by the purchaser before redemption, and cannot be transferred after redemption or use.
• App-store refunds: Apple and Google process and decide app-store refund requests under their storefront rules. We reconcile an approved refund with the related property license; a used license may require manual support review.

4. Reports, Sharing & Currency

• Reports are documentation aids, not appraisals, insurance advice, or proof that a carrier will accept an item or value.
• Report estimates are stated in United States dollars. App stores may display locally configured storefront prices.
• Report links are immutable snapshots that remain available until the owner revokes them or the account or Service is deleted. Anyone with an active link can view that snapshot.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Instant Inventory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or denied insurance claims, arising from your use of the Service.

6. Account Deletion and Availability

You may delete your account from the mobile app. Deletion revokes report links and removes account-linked active inventory and media; limited payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, and security records may be pseudonymized and retained where required. Service features may change or become unavailable, subject to applicable law.

7. Market Availability

The initial Service is offered for property addresses in the United States and Canada. You are responsible for confirming that the Service and any report are appropriate for your intended use.
